The Psychologically Healthy & Safe Workplace (PHS) Assessment is a structured, evidence-informed tool designed to help organizations understand how effectively their workplace mental health initiatives, programs, and processes are working — and where to focus next. This assessment provides organizations with: Ongoing monitoring and measurement of workplace mental health initiatives A clear picture of existing strengths, gaps, and opportunities across programs and processes Reliable data to inform priorities, planning, and investment in workplace mental health The assessment measures the core elements required to establish and sustain a psychologically healthy and safe workplace and delivers practical, prioritized recommendations to support continuous improvement. Assessment Process The PHS Assessment evaluates how workplace mental health is embedded across policies, practices, and day-to-day operations. Workjoy partners with AuditSoft to deliver this assessment using an innovative, easy-to-use digital platform that streamlines data collection, analysis, and reporting. The process includes: Review of relevant documentation, including policies, procedures, and existing programs One-on-one interviews with a cross-section of employees at different levels of the organization Observations related to how PHS principles are implemented in practice Deliverables Organizations receive clear, actionable outputs to support decision-making and planning: Comprehensive Report A detailed report highlighting strengths, gaps, and priority areas to support leadership decisions, budget planning, and resource allocation. Action Plan A customizable action plan outlining practical steps to organize, prioritize, and track improvements over time.
